FREE TALK ON AUTISM
When: Wednesday 17 May, 2017 from 3:00pm to 5:30pm (registration from 2:30pm)
Where: WA School of Mine Conference Centre, MacDonald Street, Kalgoorlie
The WA School of Mines (WASM) and Curtin Autism Research Group (CARG) will be hosting talks by Russell Thomas and Michele Thomas from the Autism Association of Western Australia. They have kindly agreed to visit Kalgoorlie and cover all their costs which is most appreciated.
The Talk will cover the following:
· The work of the Autism Association of Western Australia.
· Managing autism in a family.
· Positive behaviour support (adults)
· Autism in the Workplace – Successfully supporting employees with autism.
There will be a coffee/tea break.
This should be a very informative talk and an excellent way to address any questions and concern.
The event is free but registration is essential to ensure we have adequate seating.
