GIFSA welcomes back the Weickhardts
In town for a short visit this is what Phil & Julie had to say:
Thank you so much for your hospitality at the new GIFSA offices and rooms in Kalgoorlie. What a great job you guys are doing, so exciting to see.
Julie and I first had contact with GIFSA as they supported our family during Joshua’s short life from 1994 – 1997. He was born in Kalgoorlie and transferred to PMH within hours. On our return to Kalgoorlie we knew that he had a medical condition which resulted in physical disabilities.
I later had the privilege to serve on the Board of GIFSA in 2011 – 14 and as Chair in 2014. I learned a lot and it was an exciting time as we worked hard to place GIFSA as an agency of choice in the Goldfields and Esperance Regions. I remember a number of meetings with Lee-Anne, Neville, Rob, Brendan, Paul and others as we considered strategy and long term planning.
May GIFSA continue to provide excellent services in support of the community.
